Sample Answer 1:

Dear Sir or Madam.

I am one of your frequent customers and I am writing to report a faulty scanner and printer that I purchased from your store on Sunday last week.

On Sunday, 21st of January, I visited one of your outlets to buy a scanner and printer. When I bought it after comparing with several other models, I was assured by your sales manager that this is the best one right now. However, after it was installed, to my utter dissatisfaction, I found the color is not at all accurate when I scan or print something. In fact, the image or any document sometimes is also blurry! Now, this is a major problem when it comes to scanning and printing.

As you might know, I am a freelance designer and content writer working from home. My clients are all over the world which is why a scanner is one of the main means to send my work. This is very crucial when I need to produce hand drawn and colored samples instead of computerized artworks if any client demands so. I’m also given a time limit for my work always, and therefore, a good scanner plus printer is inevitable for such type of work. For the last five days, my work is being hampered quite a lot.

Hence, I expect that you send someone from your technical team to come over to my house and check for yourself. But, I fear the same problem might occur again. So, in that case, you may replace it according to the terms and conditions.

I look forward to hearing back from you immediately.

Sincerely,

John Smith

Title: IELTS Band Scores and How IELTS Scores Are Calculated? What is IELTS? ILETS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is an international standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers which is jointly managed by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment English. How the Band Score is Calculated Each of the four  components is scored on a band scale  from 0 to 9. The overall band score is calculated by taking the average of these four scores and rounding to the nearest half or whole band. For example, if a test-taker receives the following scores: Listening: 7.5 Reading: 6.5 Writing: 6.0 Speaking: 7.0 The overall band score would be the average of these scores: (7.5 + 6.5 + 6.0 + 7.0) / 4 = 6.75, which would be rounded up to 7.0.
