Sample Answer:

The chart shows how men and women with different employment statuses enjoyed leisure time in a week from 1998-99. Different employment statuses for men and women were employed full-time, employed part-time, retired and housewives.

From the chart, we see women enjoyed more leisure time than that of men. (40+40+70+70+40=260 hours almost for women; 50+80+80=210 hours for men) Fulltime employed men got 50-40=10 hours (about) more leisure time than that of women. For part-time employed and housewives, there is no data for males. However, retired and unemployed categories, males enjoyed more leisure time than that of females. These two categories also got more leisure time individually than that of others, and, both male and female enjoyed same amount of time though it differs according to sex. For example, males in these two groups got 80 hours leisure time and females got almost 70 hours.

So, we can summarize that females enjoyed more free time than that of their male counterparts.
