Question:

The table below gives information on consumer spending on different items in five different countries in 2002.

Summaries the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Sample Answer:

The table depicts the percentage of national expenditure consumed in five different countries  Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey on three different items in 2002.

Food or drinks or tobacco were in the most important position on consumer spending in all of the five countries. The national consumer spent on food or drinks or tobacco was 32.14% in Turkey which was the highest percentage among all countries, followed by Ireland with 28.91. The remaining three countries spent almost similar on that item.

Clothing and footwear were the second most important consumer in these countries and in Italy,  it was 9% and in Sweden consumed 5.4%. For three other countries, the figure were very similar around 6%.

Turkey spent the highest on leisure and education which was 4.35% in 2002, whereas Ireland spent half o that. On the other hand, the lowest percentage was spent in Spain on leisure and education which was 1.98%. But, almost same percentages were spent by Italy and Sweden for this category.

In conclusion, food, drinks and tobacco were the most lucrative consumer item in all five countries in 2002, and the Turkey consumed higher than the other countries.

    it can be seen from figures, majority of the people who live in the distinct states expended on food, drinks and tobacco. while littlest disbursed on leisure and education.
    according to the statistics, Turkey individuals spent 32.14% on foods. it was the highest squander among five countries. Secondly, most expenditure for it by Ireland with 28.91%. Rest of other countries users wasted their money on foods by nearly half percentage of the Turkey's expenditures on it.
    Moving to the table, all nations folks spent their money less than 10% from their expenditures to buy clothing and footwear. Among those states, Italy, spent mostly on it than others. It considered 9%. Approximately similar proportion had disbursed to purchase it by Ireland, Spain and Turkey with 6.43, 6.51 and 6.63% respectively. Meanwhile, Sweden people had lowest desire to clothing (5.40%).
    The table illustrates, above nations consumers spent relatively little amount for leisure and education. It was below than the 5% from their expenditures. Turkey used up highest amount with 4.35% on it. While, Spain spent around half of it.

IN THE COUNTRIES LIKE ITALY, SPAIN, AND SWEDEN THERE WAS NO BIG CHANGE SEEN IN THE USAGE OF FOOD, DRINK, AND TOBACCO WHICH STAYED BETWEEN 15-17%. IN THE EDUCATION SECTOR TURKEY WAS ONLY THE COUNTRY THAT CROSSED 4% USAGE.
