Difference Between Computer Based And Paper Based IELTS

Actually, except the test taking process, there is nothing difference, a little changes in Listening Module, between a Paper Based IELTS and Computer Delivered IELTS or Computer Based Test (CBT). For both the computer-delivered and paper-based test, the Speaking test is still completed face-to-face with an IELTS certified examiner.

Computer Delivered Test requires applicants to sit the Reading, Listening and Writing tests in front of a computer with the questions presented on the screen in an authorized IELTS test venue. On the other hand, in Paper Based test, the candidates have to sit at a desk with the question papers and answer sheets for the Reading, Listening and Writing tests in an official IELTS test venue. But, the Speaking test is still be carried out face-to-face with an examiner.
