Here you will find Cambridge IELTS Book 2 Academic Writing Task 1 Solve  Book 2, Test 2 WRITING TASK 1          You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.          The chart below shows the amount of leisure time enjoyed by men and women of different employment status.            Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below. You should write at least 150 words. Sample Answer: The chart shows how men and women with different employment statuses enjoyed leisure time in a week from 1998-99. Different employment statuses for men and women were employed full-time, employed part-time, retired and housewives. From the chart, we see women enjoyed more leisure time than that of men. IELTS Academic Writing Task 1 test 1 Cambridge 7 Sample Answer Question: The table below gives information on consumer spending on different items in five different countries in 2002. Summaries the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words. Sample Answer: The table depicts the percentage of national expenditure consumed in five different countries  Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey on three different items in 2002. Food or drinks or tobacco were in the most important position on consumer spending in all of the five countries. The national consumer spent on food or drinks or tobacco was 32.14% in Turkey which was the highest percentage among all countries, followed by Ireland with 28.91. The remaining three countries spent almost similar on that item. Clothing and footwear were the second most important consumer in these countries and in Italy,  it was 9% and in Sweden consumed 5.4%.
